The Chadds Ford Historical Society is committed to providing quality education programs to its members and the public. School and adult programming utilizes both the 1714 Barns-Brinton House and the c. 1725 John Chads House, as well as the Barn Visitor Center. Guides in colonial garb narrate tours of the houses and lead groups in craftmaking. Arrangement can be made to demonstrate early skills such as open hearth cooking and baking, spinning, weaving, needlework, etc. |
