Chadds Ford Days 2014 Schedule of Events:

Following is the schedule from 2013

 

Saturday: September 7

  • 10 a.m. — Gates open.
  • 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Watch live firing demonstrations; Revolutionary War reenactments
         and a
    grand retreat at 4 p.m. provided byThe Second Pennsylvania Regiment of the Continental Line (Saturday Only)
  • 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. — Tommy Lee Band.
  • 11:00 a.m. Meet General Washington  at the meeting room inside the Barn Visitors Center
  • 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. — The Sin City Band
  • 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. — The Skyline Band
  • 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. —Makin’ Whoopee
  • 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. — Steve Liberace Band
  • Ongoing__ Self guided exhibits at the meeting room, inside the Barn Visitors Center: See a special collection of Civil War artifacts, courtesy of the Christian C. Sanderson Museum to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg.
  • Visit a Genealogy exhibit presented in cooperation with the Brinton Association of America and start the journey of discovery of your own family genealogy.
  • Activities for Kids at Kids Korner featuring moonbounce with obstacle course, ski ball, tip a troll crazy cans, hay rides and so much more.
  • Antique Cars
  • Tours of the historic John Chads House, c. 1725
  • Colonial demonstrators portraying the lives of men and women in 18th century America
  • 5:00 p.m. Fair closes

 

Note: Bands maybe relocated to accommodate George Washington
and Ned Hector schedules as needed.



Sunday, September 8

  • 10 a.m. — Gates open.
  • 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. — Tommy Lee Band
  • 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. — The Skyline Band
  • 1:00 p.m. Meet General Washington  at the meeting room inside the Barn Visitors Center
  • 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. — The Sin City Band
  • 2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Ned Hector, Black Rev war soldier.
  • 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Steve Liberace Band
