Saturday, February 27

7:00 - 9:00 a.m. - Artists Check-In at the CFHS Barn Visitors Center. Volunteers will stamp up to 3 canvases with a special logo commemorating the 2010 event. Only stamped canvases and watercolor blocks will be permitted in the Gallery Art Exhibition. MAPAPA (Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association) will sponsor warm breakfast including coffee, hot chocolate and tea.

Paint all day at your pleasure. People in historical garb will be on the grounds for artists who wish to paint people or include people in their landscapes, etc. The Barn will be opened all day for you to warm up, have another cup of coffee, or relax and chat with artist friends.

3:30 - 4:30 p.m. - Return to CFHS Barn Visitors Center with your "wet canvases" to frame and prepare for the evening's wet paint sale and reception. Enjoy soups and homemade bread prepared by CFHS volunteers while volunteers hang your paintings in the gallery. We will display at least one painting from each artist; however, depending on the size of your canvases, we may be able to display up to three of your works. Please remember to bring your own frames and wires for hanging. Framing and hanging will end promptly at 4:30 p.m.

5:00 - 7:00 p.m. -  "Wine and Cheese with the Artists" - Reception and Art Sale - If you're not an artist, please call and RSVP for this event. Attendance is free. Call the Society at 610-388-7376.
