Upcoming 2016 Tavern Talks:

October 13– Very Superstitious: Fears, False Notions and Fables

What superstitions do you believe in? On October 13th from 7-9 pm at the Chadds Ford Historical Society’s Barns-Brinton House tavern, come explore various fears, lore and haunted tales from the Colonial era.

A sampling of activities for the evening include performances by Colonial magician Levram the Great, fortune telling, ghost stories, superstitions and other surprises you’ll just have to attend to unearth. Special guests The Prana House will demonstrate why female healers were often thought to be witches. And what better setting for this than a 300-year-old potentially haunted tavern!

**Levram the Great performs at 7:30 and 8:30, so please plan your night accordingly!
