2019 Exhibit Information

Thrills, Hills and Spills:

Lenape Park and Chadds Peak

We are excited to present a new exhibit beginning April 5, 2019 and available through the end of the year.  Using a blend of artifacts and photos, learn the story of two popular attractions in the Chadds Ford area which closed in the 1980s. There will be an Exhibit Opening Reception on April 5th from 6pm - 8pm. The reception and exhibit are free to the public.

This Exhibit is now closed. Stay tuned for our 2020 exhibit

Brass Ring Raffle

The Capps family from Brandywine Picnic Park were kind enough to donate a number of brass rings from the old Lenape Park Dentzel carousel to the Society. Most will go into the permanent collection while seven were raffled as a fundraiser to help pay for the 2019 exhibit. Congratulations to the winners!
